Hooray it’s May!
The month of May brings us many joys – warmer weather, the unofficial start to the summer season, wedding season, but most importantly a set time to celebrate MOM. Last year we were locked down & Mother’s Day just couldn’t be celebrated the way it should be. No dinner outings, no spa services – most couldn’t even visit with their moms. This year, I vote to make up for that breezed over holiday.
Treat mom to a luminous complexion with the Motherly Glow Brightening Facial, gift her a decadent treat with the Momma’s Mimosa Manicure & Pedicure, or let her bask in true bliss with the Glow & Get It Brightening Body Treatment. While our appointment availability is limited for Mother’s Day weekend, we’ve made these specialized services available all month long so that mom can come in for her spa experience whenever is convenient for her. You can send her a gift certificate for some much needed spa time by mail or e-mail!
Not sure a spa treatment is what mom has in mind this year? We have the best selection of gifts & products to make her Mother’s Day special! One of my favorite things to do is put together gift baskets & bags – let me shop for you! We will make sure your gift is perfectly wrapped with our new collection of Papaya Art gift bags & greeting cards. From luxurious body care, skin care essentials & pampering products we have everything you need to gift mom with relaxation & organic beauty. Be sure to check out some of the fan favorites from our newsletter, but I will list my personal at-the-moment favorites here:
- Glow Time Ethereals from jane iredale – both the blushes & highlighters
- Peachy Keen Gift Set from Lalicious
- Day & Night Eye Duo from COOLA
- Naturally Nude Collection from Londontown
I also don’t think you can go wrong with a homemade touch! If you’re nearby, cook her dinner – I used this rich recipe from Pinterest that was a hit with the whole family. If you’re not available to be there in person, send a yummy treat from a local restaurant – I’m eyeing the menu at One Coastal in Fenwick (the best cinnamon rolls everrrr).
The concept of Mom doesn’t look the same in every family. Whether you call her step-mom, aunt, sister, friend or someone who chose to step into that role, I hope you know what Mom feels like. That energy, that safety, that love.
I call mine Momma. She is my sounding board. She is my motivator. She is my fan club. Challenging & beautiful & generous in every single way. I had her in mind when I chose this month’s featured spa treatments. She already owns one of everything in this store, so if you have any recommendations for a momma who deserves the sun & stars please let me know 😉
Moms truly did it all this past year – parent, teacher, partner, provider. They need some love. They need a break. They need to be celebrated. Wish your mom & every single mom you know a very Happy Mother’s Day.
xoxo, Jess
