If you’ve been in to see us in the last few months, you’ve probably heard us say that we’ve been busy since Easter. Memorial Day Weekend in Rehoboth Beach typically marks the official start to our high season, but this year we started seeing consistent visitors in April. For a little while, we didn’t feel quite as prepared as we could have been. Like all of our friends & neighbors, we don’t have the full team that we would like to.
We are incredibly thankful to have found some new massage therapists, aestheticians and nail apprentices & have seamlessly transitioned them to full members of our team. (Of course, if you know of anyone in our industry still looking for position we are hiring in all departments!)
Our team has been working incredibly hard through the pandemic, through a winter with an extremely small staff, through an impossibly busy spring & is now heading into what we think will be the biggest summer we’ve seen at the beach. Mask mandates have been lifted & social distancing restrictions have been lessened. More & more people are feeling comfortable to travel & return to their normal level of activity. We are so excited to welcome you all back & to serve you the best way we know how.
We have chosen some fun, fruity specialized treatments for the summer featuring supercharged ingredients like watermelon, avocado, Vitamin C, goji berry & marshmallow. We’ll be spotlighting these offerings all season long!
This year, we cannot stress pre-scheduling your appointments enough. Our appointment books are filling in 2 weeks in advance. We want to provide you the best opportunity for spa services, but in order to do so we ask you to plan ahead. The worst feeling in the world to us, is having to tell you that we cannot accommodate you. We have re-opened our waiting area with infused waters & herbal teas to help you unwind before your services. We are continuing to follow all CDC guidelines to ensure the health and safety of both team members and guests. For that reason, our team has collectively chosen to remain masked for the time being.
It’s an extremely exciting time of year – outdoor parties, live music, beach days – it’s all back on! The drive for human connection & plain old FUN is going to lead to a jam-packed summer. But instead of complaining about your wait times, traffic, or the many varying degrees of remaining COVID protocols, let’s just be thankful for the opportunity to go to a restaurant, to the pool, to the spa, etc.

- Soulfire Collective events are back! Give me all the outdoor yoga with all of my favorite collaborations!
- Company Beach Day – June 9 – We will be closing at 1PM on Wednesday 6/9 for a full team beach day & cookout; we all deserve a break!
- Wedding Events! I know most people don’t love these, but I cannot wait to hype my friends up & celebrate love ALL TOGETHER.
- The Modern Graze – a friend started the cutest company curating charcuterie boards & grazing boxes for literally any event. I ordered a medium box for an evening beach picnic & my whole week was made!
So let’s take a breath, acknowledge the crazy busy-ness of everything & remind ourselves that we get to DO so many more things than we could last year. Here’s to a start of a happy summer!
